The surgery went well yesterday, everything went right on schedule. Dr. Kiefer was able to remove all of the tumor. It was very large, about the size of a baseball. The tumor itself was very hard and had calcium deposits on it, which leads him to believe it is benign. However we will not know 110% sure until Monday. She is in ICU at Central Baptist right now, she was very alert and talking a lot last night, although in a lot of pain. She has use of both sides of her body. I talked to Dad this morning and he said the Physical Therapist, had her up and walking around, although she is very weak, she is doing amazingly good. On behalf of the whole family, thanks for all the calls, prayers, and positive words of hope. God has really looked over her and us as well.
Also I ask that everyone pray for Jeff Brown's mother, she had open heart surgery and is still in ICU at the same hospital. Jeff says she is doing a little better, she has been in there for about a week now. I was setting in the waiting room before surgery yesterday and here comes Jeff Brown out of all people, it was good for both of us to see a familiar face. Keep all of them in your prayers as well.
THANKS!!!
