thanks Doc i dident realy need to know any thing about conception.... my add has only been on here for about a month now.ithought it was an important question..to me any way. have a super GREAT DAY.and thanks for all your help

Well Marty, it seems like your first Emoticon really shows what and who you are. Doc S gives away his advice for free on this board. He obviously has been busy trying to make a living or else he probably would have answered your question. It is out of the goodness of his heart that he does this service for this board. With the attitude of people like you, I wouldn't be suprised if he didn't show up ever again. If you post was so IMPORTANT, then why didn't you spend the $10 and go to the vet and ask in person. Or is that too hard for you to accomplish?

Oh, and just one more thing. If you think that he is raking in the big bucks, then think again. Vets make somewhere in the neighborhood of $35K-$40K per year. They have to attend just as rigorous of a school as human doctors do and their patients can't tell them what is wrong with them. The average starting salary for a family physician is around $110K per year. The difference is that humans will pay any amount of money to fix an illness of a loved one. Then will sue the physician if it doesn't turn out the way they want it. Not that the physician did anything wrong. But if your dog gets cancer, just put it to sleep. Of course, then you want free advice on conception. Why don't you go to your family doctor and ask him or her about conception and see what kind of bill you get...

Marty, I hate to be a smart

, but if you have a kennel of hunting dogs and you are relying on an occasional guest vet to the beagle boards to care for them, you're in trouble. A month goes by and it doesn't occur to you to pick up the phone and call your local vet? They will give you the information you asked for free over the phone. Or, you could have one of your servants do it.

I am certainly not without sin and never claimed to be. I was just commenting on how someone hide behind the computer screen and doesn't have the guts to sign his or her name. Marty did so but the neutral bystander didn't.

Marty,
As stated on here Doc S. is a busy man. We all appreciate any time that he can manage to get on a computer and get away from his busy schedule to help us out. This is NOT his job. This is his way of giving back to the community! Did you or did you not get an answer to your conception question? There is no need to be rude to anyone. We all come to these sites to help someone out when we can. You should appreciate what you do get out of life, the information was free!
