Bought a male dog the first of the year. Took him to the vet. Had Lyme Disease, was treated and he won't gain any weight. Dog's 4 years old. I feed him Kasco 20/30. Has bowel movements twice as much as my other dogs. Any suggestions?

lyme disease does not go away over night from what I understand what did the vet that treated him say about recoup time?
