About 4 weeks ago we bred our beagle and up to that time she was always eager to eat her food. Upon the recommendation of our vet we slowly started switching her to puppy chow. Within the last week she has become a very reluctant eater. Is it unusual that a pregnant dog should go off her feed? Have any of you breeders had this problem and what have you done to correct it?

A females eating habits will often change during a pregnancy in the 3--4 week range after being bred but she should return to normal and then her eating habits will change again later in her pregnancy just before time for her to welp.
