Please Help

had problems today while me and a friend was out running
Had a 5 year old male was going to run him
He is a full 15 he was the first out of the box
Full of pee and vinegar running around like a mad man
This was his first time running in about 2 and half months he is fat and out of shape some what
now the problem
was out of box less than 1 min and went down with seizure.
was out in space for 5 min
went head and let other 3 out to run and put him in box went back
put him on ground and he was fine rest of the day no problems
anyone have ideas what happened maybe surgar dropped

May be sugar, but, I've seen dogs that would do this from excitement especially after not running for a while.

I had a redtick once that was the worse I've seen. He would start shaking, staggering about and almost pass out in the box when you turned off the paved road onto a rough road getting ready to run. He would
slobber and just go limp. When he came to himself, he was all wobbly and disoriented for a few minutes. After that he was OK, ready for an all day hunt. Never got better for 9 years.

Never bred him as we didn't want that trait in pups and also didn't know if he would survive the EXCITEMENT!!!!
