Well bucks better beagles
I have to give you an A for effort, but since this post has flown the coop I might as well tell you what I think.
Its a fact that many Godly phrases have been added in the last hundred years, but for everyone that was added I can give you two that were taken out or just were not bothered with. For example; The Star Spangled banner has several references to GOD but we just don't bother to sing those! We sang the entire song in church one day and if we didn't sing the part everyone knows, I would have thought it was a church Hyme. It includes the famed " IN GOD WE TRUST"
Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
A home and a country should leave us no more!
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
Its a fact that the old testament history is all over the capital buildings and the House of Representatives.
Pelousi has to Stare at ingraved stone of Moses and the Ten Commandments whether she likes it or not.
Our Senate & House of Rep. open and close with prayer, but our children can't do that, and the Senators & Rep. are the ones who pushed to get it changed.
I have seen piles of writings of our Forefathers Washington, Lincoln, Adams and Franklin that all Quoted Scripture, I read that over 90% of thier writing included God's holy word.
I also think that many historians refer to some of our Forefathers as deist because they knew they were Masons at one time and were lookling at them as such. What many don't know is you don't have to be a Christian to be a Mason. Many feel Freemasonry is Pagan style woreship, and there have been many Christians who once they were fully accepted chose to walk away and secede, because it conflicted with Some bible verses, and Jesus's teachings. I have read that Washington and Franklin did just that, and chose to not to be affliated with Masonic meetings after a short time, even though most Masons are quick to point out that they were once Free and Accepted Masons. Its believable because you really know nothing about it until you get involved.
The idea of separation of Church and State, and I could be wrong, because I had never seen that writing from James Madison before, but I have seen the one everyone references from Jefferson, is that the Forefathers did not want one National religion or Denomination proclaimed because this would divid for example; Catholics and Baptists, and would fail like other nations before them that were ruled by Kings.
I think that many so called writings are rewritten because What better way is there to see a society abandon historical truths than to allow them to be revised, misshaped or omitted from school textbooks?
Heres a TRUE ONE!
"Feel and acknowledge that all the good you have ever received, that you now receive, or ever will receive is of grace through Jesus Christ. Trust in Him for all which you need, both for this life and the life to come. Rely on His merits, imitate His example, and in view of every blessing give Him and the Father and the Holy Ghost all the glory.”
- George Washington
in 1768 Washington had ceased regular attendance in the Masonic Lodge
"It cannot be emphasized too strongly and too often that this nation was founded, not by religionists but by Christians; not on religion, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
- Patrick Henry
"The patriot who feels himself in the service of God, who acknowledges Him in all his ways, has the promise of Almighty direction, and will find His Word in his greatest darkness, a lantern to his feet and a lamp unto his paths.' He will therefore seek to establish for his country in the eyes of the world, such a character as shall make her not unworthy of the name of a Christian nation."
- Francis Scott Key, and incase someone doesn't know the writer of "The Star Spangled Banner"
"America was born a Christian nation. America was born to exemplify devotion to the elements of righteousness which are derived from the revelations of Holy Scripture.”
- New Jersey Governor Woodrow Wilson (May 7, 1911 before his election to President of the United States)
YOU WON'T READ THIS IN YOUR HISTORY BOOK "WHY" BECAUSE THEY REMOVED IT WITH PRAYER....
The Founders saw Isaiah 33:22 as a basis for what would become the three branches of our US federal government and the separation of powers therein.

The LORD is our lawgiver,
The LORD is our king;
He will save us
George Washington's
"Seventeen Rules of Life"
Act at all times as in the presence of God, and make it the great object in all things to please Him. In order to do this,
Seek first of all to gain clear views of His will and with regard to all things to be perfectly conformed to it. In doing this,
Cherish no thoughts, indulge no feeling, speak no words, and do no actions, but what you really think, after all the light you can gain, will most honor God, most benefit yourself and others needs, and give you the greatest joy when they come to be exhibited before the assembled universe at the judgement day.
Begin and end each day by a season of communion with God, and by a solemn and hearty commitment of yourself and all your interest, temporal and eternal, to His guidance, care and disposal.
Daily read, with deep attention and fervent prayer, a portion of the word of God, for the purpose of understanding, believing, and obeying it.
Never express or indulge the least degree of unkindness towards any human being, and give no needless pain to any one of the human race, or even of the animal creation.
Make it your object to promote the greatest happiness, on the whole, of all upon whom you may have influence, both of the present and all future generation.
Regard the hand of God in all the dispensations of His providence, and in whatsoever state He places you, therewith be content.
Envy none who are above you, and despise none who are below you: but possess and manifest the utmost goodwill towards all men.
Never speak to or feel towards them in a manner that you ought not to wish them, under similar circumstance, to speak to or feel with regard to you.
Let all statements and narrations be an exact exhibition of the real truth.
Act for God, for the universe, and for eternity; and in such a manner as is adapted to promote the highest good forever. In order to do this,
Look habitually to Jesus Christ: let your whole soul be imbued with His spirit, and manifest it in all your actions.
Look to the Holy Ghost as the author of all good in man; seek habitually His teaching, His illuminating and purifying influences, that He may dwell in you as His temple, and take full possession of all your powers and talents for Himself.
Earnestly desire that He would take of the things of Christ and more and more show them unto you; and carefully avoid everything which tends to hinder you from becoming perfectly like Him.
Make it as your meat and drink to do the will of God, and perseveringly have respect to all His commandments.
Feel and acknowledge that all the good that you ever have received, that you now receive, or ever will receive is of grace through Jesus Christ; trust in him for all which you need, both for this life and the life to come; rely on his merits, imitate his example, and in view of every blessing give him and the Father and the Holy Ghost all the glory.
**Words from a Seceded MASON**
“I am prepared to complete the demonstration before God and man, that the Masonic oaths, obligations and penalties, cannot, by any possibility, be reconciled to the laws of morality, of Christianity, or of the land.” J.Q. Adam’s letter to Ed. Livingston.

Well if you read this far, I have more I've dug up if anybody cares.
