Are you including the current Administration and congress in this statement? Or could it be that even with your blinders on you are seeing things are going bad so now you want to start using the term "Government" so that the blame for things collapsing can be spread out instead of pointing directly at those who are currently in power.

Well now we know, your "the government could do better" line is still a blame everyone but the ones in charge line that you and your party continue to lean on.

By the way, I'm not a Republican as they have been defining themselves recently. I'm a conservative. The Republican party drifted away from conservatism with Bush and tried to drift further away with McCain. No blinders here, I know what I am. I don't need a party to tell me how to think and what to say. You however, started this thread to simply spout your party line one more time. You used your parties methods to do it, too. Say one thing when we all know you mean something else.

Pine Mt you can give that dead horse a proper buriel, this president signed the 787 billion dollar stimulas, 646 billion dollar omnibus and he is pushing healthcare reform and cap and trade and NOTHING him or his administration has said has turned out as advertised. I'll use the stimulas for example, if we dont pass it we are headed for double digit unemployment but if we do we can keep unemployment at or below 8%. This is his economy and has been since he passed that stimulas and it is doing exactly what those (according to you) just say no, do nothing republicans said it going to do. NOT WORK!!!

This administrations discisions are what is keeking down consumer confidence, investors holding their money, unemployment continuing to rise. He wants to follow in Californias footsteps, YEA CALIFORNIA IS A MODEL THAT I WOULD BE STUDYING, TO FIND OUT WHAT NOT TO DO.

Obama has done more damage in 6 months than Bush did in 8 years, I don't need 4 years to see that.

ACTUALLY I STARTED IT TO GET IDEAS FROM DIFFERENT PEOPLE, ABOUT WHERE IT WENT WRONG AND WHERE IT IS GOING, BUT I FORGOT IT WAS A REPUBLICAN BOARD,WITH NOTHING BUT TO SAY BUT -NO- TO AMERICA, LIKE THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR ARNOLD (REPUBLICAN) WE HAVE KNOWN FOR MONTHS THE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE WILL GET TO DOUBLE DIGIT'S THIS YEAR ,,DIDN'T WE JUST GIVE WALL STREET A BIG STIMULAS BEFORE HE GOT IN BECAUSE THE BANKS WERE FAILING.THE CONSUMER CONFIDENCE TOOK EIGHT YEARS TO DESTROY NOT -6-MOS THIS COUNTRY IS NOT PRODUCING JOB'S ,,PRODUCE JOB'S PROBLEM SOLVED,OH, I FORGOT BUSH, DID THAT ALREADY BUT IN MEXICO AND CHINA ,

If someone gives you the legislation where it really started going wrong, you wont reseach it yourself. All you do is continue to blame Bush, rhetoric thats all you got. If its a republican your going to twist it to fit, if its a democrat you are going to turn a blind eye and I am sure there are conservatives on this board. I am also sure your not one of them.
