Interesting thing about statistics. If you selectively pick things out of them you can completely misrepresent them and make them appear to say what they are not. In a complete look at the stats from the source you used would tell you that your conclusion is completely inaccurate and your supporting documentation is just as inaccurate in the way you presented it.

Let me make this clear, based on the facts in whole.
Exactly 17 countries with "universal health care" for all were ranked higher than the US in Average Life Expectancy.
Exactly 17 countries with "universal health care" for all were ranked lower than the US in Average Life Expectancy.

That means you can draw the conclusion based on those facts "universal health care" for all, has ZERO effect on Average Life Expectancy.

However, for those who wish to dig further you will find that these stats have nothing to do with the effect of "universal health care" it is not the purpose of the stats, they simply give Average Life Expectancy without attempting to give reasoning behind it, so anyone attempting to CREATE an agenda will use the portions of these stats that agree with them, while throwing out the stats that contradict their preconceived notion.

The vast majority of the media "both sides" has used France and Canada as points of interest and that is why I used them in this post. I did not mix any facts to sway one way or another, I just pointed out that both of these countries have a longer life expectancy than the individuals in the United States using a universal health care coverage. We state that we have the best health care in the world "we might and we might not", if that was a certain than you would think that our life expectancy would also be longer "remember we are ranked 50th" than the vast majority of the world.
Before you come back Tony on stating that Obama had these numbers changed (in control of the CIA) you can also look up Life Expectancy from previous years before Obama took office.

Old blood life expectancy has to do with a lot more than a persons helthcare I believe that's why I am interested in how it is calculated. Genetics, murder, suicide, wrecks, and so on could contribute more than healthcare type seems to me. there again don't know how it is calculted.

Old Blood, my point was clear, to use those stats in an attempt to make a case for or against any health care system is a misunderstanding of the stats at best and outright deception at worst. Either way the stats do not address health care in any way. It is obvious you looked at the stats with a bias and picked what would support your bias because there were equal stats when used in the same way you used them (which is incorrect) that could have pointed out the exact opposite of what you wanted to prove.
