Some sad news

Post by Bev »

It has come to my attention that fellow beagle club member Craig Tull (dogrunnerone) was killed this evening in a motorcycle accident. Let's keep his family and friends uplifted in prayer. I met Craig in 1997, in fact, the first time I ever ran my dogs with another beagler, it was with Craig Tull and the Surbers. It cannot be said enough how he will be missed by many in this sport.

Send his family my condolences . It seems the older we get the
more death brings sadness to our heart
Death is an appointment we all must keep but no matter how
hard we try to prepare it always seems to be a shock .

I was at the grand nationals this weekend and talked with Craig a bit, and also judged his Lead dog. Spoke briefly with him and Matt as we were leaving the hunt last night, you just never know when its your time to go. Prayers go out to the family.

I've got some super pictures of Craig and some of his dogs that have been taken over the years. I'll gather them together (many I will have to scan - no digital cameras back then) and post them on this thread. Others are welcome to do the same. I wouldn't have my old Dolly if it weren't for Craig. He went to WV and got her and her littermate brother, Goodtime Sam, from Larry Harrison when they were just pups and brought them back to Indiana.

One is taken, one is left behind.
Pity only those of us here below.
Through Heavens gates, holds no sorrows or pain.
And loved ones gone before are rejoined.

My deepest regards to his family... :(

I had also talked with Craig at the AKC and ARHA hunts. He had just got back from a trip out west. Rest in peace, my friend. Our prayers also go out to the Tull Family.
