Anyone bitching about losing the Olympics should do a search and find out how many countries benefitted financialy the last several decades from hosting the games.. It doesn't make any sense to borrow money so that Obama's buddies in Chacago can fill their bank accounts then have taxpayers for generations pay it back.

Which allies has he got anything out of, he is appeasing eniemies of our allies and getting nothing for it. I'm sure their are some people being called back to work but unemployment continues to rise. That means more people are loosing their jobs than are recieving jobs. Cash for clunkers was a bump for the car companies (mainly the foriegn companies like hundea). I hope I'm wrong but I believe it will be a long term mess, how many people do you think got new vehicles they will default on.

You do use the past to give this administration a free pass, you do not analyze the actions being taken and look at the ramifications to the countries future. He has an agenda and putting people back to work is NOT it. You need to stop fooling yourself and quit bashing the Republicans and pointing out every mistake Bush made (in your opinion) and start looking at the current administration without making excuses for them. The past is exactly that you learn from and move on, you don't use it as a crutch to continue excepting failure.

Bush started with a good lead, what country do you live in. The economy was in a down turn as was the stock market, unemployment was on the rise and lets not forget on 911 the country was attacked. Man you view history from a twisted angle. Lets not forget that Bush inherited Clintons terrible legislation but enough with those admionistrations lets focus on this one.

There are a lot of conservatives that agree Health Care needs some adjustment. However, name one person who approves of the Democrat Plan who will tell the truth about how you can add forty million folks to a health care system, with the same number of Doctors, and not ration Health Care. Have you been to a Doctor in the last ten years? How long was your wait in the waiting room?
Our last Democrat President, Clinton, reduced funding for Medical Sudent educatio, which resulted in fewer Doctors. With the increase in drug use, alcohol, and AIDs the health care system is swamped. Making it "free" won't improve the quality.
Socialism has never improved the quality of life of anyone except beauracrats. Take note of who is receiving the bailout money? Union bosses, government controlled corporations, and aid to politicians along with his socialist friends seem to be the big recipients of bailout money.
