Ok Rufus, I went to http://www.belief.net and I gotta let you know right up front....I dont put stock in TRUTH coming from ANYONE or ANYTHING that puts Islam up on the same level playing field as Christianity...the above quote comes from this website and is opposed by what the Bible says about loving your enemies and forgiveness...total apostasy if you ask me. As for the so called "conservative translation" of the Bible, I wasnt able to find anything there about it, but I will keep looking...that being said, a website that will allow Islam and Buddhism to be displayed as just as valid as worship of God is suspect already in their opinions and observations....

I DID find this on a google search..I think they are nuts and way off base when it comes to re-translating the Bible...as I am also against a "Green" translation, "Gender Neutral" translation and other liberal translations. They ARE correct that there have been way too many liberal translations, which is what they are attempting to bring balance to...I believe personally that God's word is enough. It was translated into the King's english by King James and thats sufficient. How does this reflect on Conservatives in general though Rufus??? I heard a Democrat Senator, this morning. blaming the big insurance companies for the section of the Bill that provides fines and possible imprisonment of anyone who does not buy insurance or pay the fine for not buying insurance.

It should be citizens vs both parties.
