What vaccines do you all use?

I just had a litter of pups and want to know what vaccine is the best to use. I use to do them myself but its been a while. So what does everyone use?

I use Canine Spectra 7, usually called the 7 in 1.
You can buy it at Tractor Supply, some feed stores and online.

fort dodge is the best in my opinion. I just lost two puppies with 3 rounds of tractor supply 5 and 7 way shots at sixteen weeks old due to parvo (vet diagnosed). So no more tsc for me. I start round one with a 5 way at six weeks then the next two rounds i go with a 7 way at 9 weeks then again at 12 weeks. pups can have a reaction to the lepto in the 7 way if given early so i use the 5 way ( no lepto) first. I would give a minimum of 3 rounds but recommend 4 rounds. Pups can get parvo all the way up to 16 to 20 weeks. Good luck with your pups.

Last box of shots I used were Galaxy 5-way.

Oldest pup I know of dieing from parvo was 14 months old. A friend of mine bought this pup from a fellow down at Princeton. Either he had had no shots or had a poor immune system. He was a real go-getter and it broke my friends heart when he died, thought he might compete in LP hunt with him as he'd never field trialed before but thought this pup could go if put some time in.
Moral of story, when you get a young hound a $3.00 booster shot if you don't know the hounds keeper.

I give all shots to my hounds.

I give a puppy shot (5 way) a week or so after weaning the pup, usually 7 weeks of age.

I give a second 5 way 3 weeks later.

I give a 7 way a month later. I give another 7 way each year to all my hounds.

I use the Ft. Dodge brand.

I use to buy from Jeffers. So I buy a good 5 way first? How long r vaccines good for? I know I give the first ones. But what about the one I keep. He will have a vet visit after the rest go home but I will need his follow up shots. Thanks

I have a lot of veterinarians as customers.I have asked and it seems most of them reccomend either Pfizzer or Ft. Dodge. Seems that I remember Branko telling me one time that they use vaccine manufactured by Scherring/ Plough.Most vets. recommend and I do a 5 way shot [without the lepto ] at 6,9 and 12 weeks and then the 7 way with the lepto at 16 weeks.
THE MOST IMPORTANT thing is that the vaccine has ALWAYS been refrigerated.IF it has been allowed to get to room temperature and stay there for any length of time you might just as well inject them with tap water for all the protection it will give them.
