Another event that has taken place in half of a lifetime, and is continuing at breakneck speed is the advancement of knowledge. Just look at all of technology that we have seen in the last 20 yrs. The Bible says there will be an explosion of knowledge in the end-times. It also says "They will profess themselves wise, but will become fools." Sound like anything we have seen lately?

Exactly. Immorality is mainstream and people that try to live right are considered narrow minded and out of touch. Modern society has been brainwashed by secular progressivism into believing that there is no absolute right or wrong and no absolute truth. Adolph Hitler said (paraphrasing) If you tell people a lie long enough, eventually they will come to believe it.
