Re: REPUBLICANS BACK UNIVERSAL LAWN CARE BILL
WASHINGTON, DC–Seeking to make "comprehensive, high-quality lawn and garden care accessible to all Americans," a coalition of House Republicans Monday introduced H.R. 4702, the Hastert-Armey Lawn-Care Reform Act.

Flanked by Sen. Trent Lott (R-MS) and Rep. Dick Armey (R-TX), Rep. Dennis Hastert (R-IL) discusses a Republican-sponsored lawn-care-reform bill.
"A healthy, productive, green lawn should be a reality for everyone, not just the rich," said Sen. Dick Armey (R-TX), co-author of the bill. "No American should be forced to endure crabgrass, uneven edges, and poorly aerated soil just because they can't afford a good landscaper."
Under the bill, states would be given financial incentives to provide residents with well-manicured lawns of uniform length. Working with designated local lawn-care providers, states would also subsidize turf-building, leaf-blowing, and hedge-trimming services–making allowances for fertilizer and decorative-bark deductibles–for residents earning less than $48,500 a

If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered
Re: REPUBLICANS BACK UNIVERSAL LAWN CARE BILL
Hey Rufus, can we use illegals to do the lawn care. Will it be covered by the third bailout? And will Clintons former polling firm get another $100,000,000. to spread the work on this Lawn Care Bill AS they did for alerting folks about changing from analog to digital TV?

The ONION is a fake news website, meant to be absurd, and they sometimes do very well with it too...but this is a JOKE Rufus, not a real bill...
Good Grief you are gullible....

Now Charles thats insulting and YOU KNOW IT IS...to claim that someone who doesnt BELIEVE in the religion of global warming is in denial is akin to someone NOT believing the holocaust took place, which is where the phrase took root...just because YOU and others like YOU are content to bury your collective heads in the sand and blindly follow those who stand to make BILLIONS off the global warming taxes that are going to be imposed doesnt mean the rest of us have to suffocate in the sand with you. You are free to follow Al Gore and his merry group of idiots along as they scam and rip off the rest of the world with regards to so called climate change...others, which I CHOOSE to associate myself with, will look at the FACTS as they relate to so called global warming and will see them for what they are. They are a means to BILLIONS for select groups at the expense of those who work hard for a living. You want to see unemployment skyrocket, just wait til businesses get hit with this new "cap and trade" garbage...businesses will go under at worst and at best freeze any and all expansion due to new regulations and restrictions they will have to pay for.
By the way, cap and trade says you can PAY up front for carbon dioxide emissions and the MONEY you pay up front will OFFSET your use by being used to restrict use somewhere else...I think the Catholic Church tried this once and they called it INDULGENCES...you could pay up front to commit sin and have that sin forgiven due to the FEE you paid...retarded then and retarded now.
