Ive had 3 that way. One was years ago when I only wormed with Ivomec. The problem was Whip worms.

The other 2 were anemic from her tail bleeding so badly I docked both of them and they were fine after that.

Her tail bleeds real bad it looks like she has been cut with a knife. That is one of the things im gona do is dock her tail she looses alot of blood in a short time when running her and i noticed today in the kennel she ate good but acts weak

THE BOOSTER SHOT THE VET GAVE YOUR DOG WAS BAD MEDICINE. ALL THAT DID WAS RUN YOUR BILL HIGHER. THE SHOTS ARE PREVENTITIVES NOT CURES

I bought a two year old bitch a few years back that had the same symptoms. First couple of hours she was awesome then she would almost quit.
Kidney problems. She died after I owned her about a year.

Pop a B12 in her for two days then the 7th day and then once a week. Used to be able to buy a shot that was a vitamin and mineral mix, but B12 was the main one in it. I like Iron supplements too.

Heck, I take a shot of it myself once a week.

I have run her 2-3 times a week all season she is a all day hunter and a tough one at that just the last 4-5 times out. I hate to have sick hounds it will be fixed whatever the problem is.

Rabbitsmoker - Sorry to hear about one of your females having health issues. Hope the Vet can take care of it tomorrow.
The female is not your Ruby dog, is it?

Rabbitsmoker;

I'm certainley new here and don't have a bunch of experience with beagels, but I have owned bird dogs all my life. You might have your vet run a blood test. This sounds to me like your dog might have diabetes. I've only seen it once, but it was darn hard to figure out.

All best,

CJF
