Freedom Arms 454 Casull

Post by Incahoots »

Freedom Arms Field Grade 454 Casull, 7½" 4 port magna-porting, Impregnated Hardwood Grips, Adjustable Sights, SSK T'SOB Scope Mount, topped with a 2X Leupold Scope. Also a scoped Freedom Arms leather holster. Original box.

This is not marked Model 83, this is a Pre model when it was just "Freedom Arms 454 Casull". No one makes a revolver close to Freedom Arms quality or tolerances. Very accurate. Asking $1,650.00 (picked up) and buy pays transfer fee. I don't need to sell it and don't mind if it stays so no tire kickers. Price is FIRM. I would consider trading toward a Beretta 471 Silver Hawk 20ga 26" barrels. I might consider a Browning Citori 28 ga or 20 ga but not firm on a Citori atm.

I will try to take some pictures soon as I can.

Bore is excellent. These are put together by hand and hand fitted. No revolvers out there come close to FA quality and performance.

$1,500 bottom dollar transfered here. Can ship at buyers expense. Still would trade toward Beretta 471 Silver Hawk 20ga 26" barrels. Also will Browning Citori 28 or 20 Gauge + cash depending on model and condition.

Would consider a Beretta 686 or 687 20 ga 28" barrels in a trade. I'd also take $1,300 for the revolver minus scope, rings, holster, and scope base. Have the original adjustable rear sight.

Nice gun.

Freedom makes one heck-of-a revolver. These things are put together like a bank vault. And the .454 cartridge, in this revolver, is surprisingly comfortable to shoot. Those impregnated hard-wood grips allow the gun to "roll" rather than grab like it would w/ a rubber style grip. The porting helps alot, too. I have a 7 1/2" Premier Grade that doesn't have the porting, and it is much more comfortable to shoot than a Ruger Super Red Hawk w/ their rubber grips.

That's a great price you are asking, too.

Good luck w/ the sale.

Rich

One last bump... Not looking for trades anymore, price is firm.
