yep I use them all ages of rabbits use them in the summer and winter months but they hit them the most in the summer. Try this get a bag of brown mineral salt pour it in a tub them add some water and get some kind of soft wood strips I use poplar soak themin the brine for a couple of days them when your out running wire a peice of the brine wood to a post or sapling the will tear it up quick. I like to spread them out in my runnin area and lead my pups in to the areas with salt first when I am starting them.

I buy 50 lbs.block and cut it into [8] pcs. I put them in a big brush piles so the rabbits is protected and the deer still will try to get to them --they have to have so much salt that is why they sale those little spools you wire on the hutch

Works very well, I've seen it double up the litters on my 45 acres. I also heard it helps produce more milk in the doe, which leads to more litters.

I buy loose white salt in 50 pound bags and make salt licks on stumps throughout the pen. Of coarse the salt melts with the rain but the ground is salty and rabbits lick the ground and chew at the stumps. This method does attract deer and as a bonus, I have killed several nice bucks on their way to the starter pen and salt stations. I definitely think salt helps for healthy rabbits.

Ive placed out salt in the way of the water softener tablets(easy to disperse) with lots of luck drawing in rabbits and increasing breeding. Numbers go up with salt, cover and food supply.

You can buy a case of the disc you put in a rabbit cage for next to nothing. Buy a couple cases an throw three or four into every brush and log pile on the place. You'll see the difference shortly. I like the disc because you can throw them a pretty good way and don't have to wade briars to get into every spot.

I havent done this yet, but I've been told that the mineral blocks with sulfur in them are about the best. The guy said the sulfur helps keep the ticks and other pests off the rabbits.

I buy blocks, bust them up, and throw in the briars. It seems to help with numbers. Did it a couple of weeks ago on one of my running grounds.

I get the 50lb blocks of the white salt and smash them with a hammer into chunks the size of a fist and then I throw that under the briars, and brushpiles. It definately seems to work as i've seen alot more rabbits in the last few years that i've been doing it.
