I'm glad
Indiana finally got it right! Just like Ky and Ohio did several years ago! Let the kids get first crack at them,Big antlers or not!
Some of my foundest hunting memories have been with kids getting thier first Deer. When my youngest gets too old for the youth hunt, I'm gonna borrow someone elses little one! Wouldn't miss it for the World!
I'll keep My GOD, MY Freedom, My Guns, and My Money! You can keep the "CHANGE".

My 10 year old and I will be out this weekend trying to get a deer. I thinks it's a great program and it gets me back in the woods a little earlier. Joshua and Stephanie to you guys know any leitzmans or Kirby Davis in Paragon?

I actually have three to five kids, none of them mine, hunting on my farm this weekend in Virginia. We took two boys last year and both got a buck. You should have seen the faces of those boys, priceless!!!!!!! We legally took 60 deer off of our place last year with the help of kids.

Jim,

You're a good man for giving them the chance! Youths here in MO get their own weekend to hunt a couple of weeks before regular rifle season. We usually go to the outlying public ground for the youth hunt, which from past experience doesn't get hit near as hard as it does for regular gun season (I won't risk my life on it during opening weekend of firearms season).
