mt. cur

Post by yottie gunner »

Looking for a brindle mt. cur for my boy to squirrel hunt with. I live in cent. Indiana. Would like a young dog or pup so he can train and make it his dog.

May want to look into Mullin's Feists. Great game dogs and natural treedogs on all critters. About the size of a big beagle and usually red. Hoping to get one for myself later on.
Good luck with your search!!

Ive got a fiest that will tree all day. I trained her my self about 17 inches tall pointed ears and bob tail. I started her back in the summer and I have shot 2 squirrels out to her this year to make sure sure she wasnt gun shy and she loves the gun. I believe she is gonna make a dandy and she will stick to a tree very good. She hasnt been broke off of ground squirrels yet. Only being 10 months old she will impress you. I only took her gunning once she treed 4 times and I was able to shoot 2 out. It still has to many leaves around here but cant wait to them to fall. I also have a 4 year old that has had plenty of squirrels shot to him. I will sell one of them but wont be cheap. I may trade one for beagle but it better be a good one.
