Todays hunt with Harners hounds and Beans beagles!!

Heres a pic of Casey Harner with his moe dog and Jason Bean with his angel dog. We hunted interlake this morning. Killed 2 rabbits but ran several more and had some of the best runs ive had all season. Dogs where wore out after 5 hours of running. Hair or Hole, choo choo!!!! lol (had to put that on there for Casey lol!!) I also had my Blazer male and his son Bull.

Heres a pic of some of the cover we where hunting, real thick with seresa, briars and grass. Some areas so thick you couldnt see your feet.

Thats for sure Dan, good seeing you today and talking, i had a blast there. Cant wait to go back, the runs themselves are worth the trip, killing one is just a great reward.

I wish I had half of the grounds you were running at down there up here!! I got 1 place to run that has rabbits and I can only run there for about 3 hrs maybe 4 max because its not very big!!

Always good running there.
But more & more hunting pressure each year. I can remember a couple years ago going there on the opening weekend of season and being the only rabbit hunter on the property. Now we have to get down there before day light to get to the spot we want to hunt and hope no one drops on top of us.

Foxxy was there and then us in the early morning and I don't think there was any one else. A lot of others will wait for the frost to melt off, you could bag at least a few before the frost burns off and your be one or two up on the others....

Is it just my eyes or does it appear that Harner has on camo makeup in that pic....u boys r too serious for me if ur camoing ur faces to hunt rabbits!!!!'hahaha

Yes sir. I sit in the grass like a Indian Warrior...we real serious about rabbit hunting.
