Need help in N.C.

Post by diverduck »

I am new to trials. I have never been to one but think I would like to give it a try. Is there anyone in N.C. that I can talk to and where are the closest trials?

Can you tell us what type of hounds you run or the format that may suit your hounds the best. That will make it a little easier to put you in contact with the right person. I do know several folks down that way that run Little Pack but you don't want to show up with a walkie talkie speed dog.

I have 4 i think would be 13 inch females. They are pretty slow medium speed at best. The only trials that I have seen are on sundays and I cant do sundays.

AKC runs a very slow dog down here. At best a 5! JMO I run a Litttle Pack Club but they are alot faster than what you are running. Again JMO! We like them fast and love for them to reach. But you are more than welcome to come and join us anytime. We always enjoy new competition. Just do not want you to feel out of your element. Most dogs are 14 inches to 15inches.

Personally I like mine "ROUGHER THAN A NITE IN JAIL"
