Charobs I believe Josh is talking about brankos red river runner. He had 9 wins in southern large pack which would require foot and the ability to handle pressure. Top it off with champion in progressive pack and making grand in performance pack shows the ability to run it right. He also had 2 wins in hunting beagle I believe. To top it off the offspring I've ran with had good mouths too boot.

Yes you are correct Dusty was out of Tank and won the very first AKC spo he was entered in, but Dusty was only finish in UKC hound and hunter as a grand. Ran with and against him a bunch and know Ryan personally, good dog and nice owner.

The first hound to have a triple crown was, CKC-FTC, AKC-FDCH, HBCH Armando's Magic Sue. , Syris McGee and Run-em Over Tank, were first two, to finish in AKC, UKC and ARHA. Difference was, Tank finished Progressive and Syris Little pack. Another mention was Branko's Pied Piper, he was finished in CKC, AKC Large pack and UKC Large pack. Sadly, Syris was killed in 2004, and Tank died a year or so later. The difference between the two was plain as night and day. Tank was a slower type of hound and did very well in the more conservative trials, and Syris was a mid-west style hound and ran a harder hitting style. Both hounds set the bar a bit higher in their trial areas, and both went on to produce some nice pups! At the time Dan Brinsky and I did this, it was unheard of for a dog to cross the format's and registries.
Oh ya, it was very expensive and time consuming too!

Cannon ball was correct. Dusty was only finished as a UKC Grand HBCH.

If you have the type of dog to do this, make sure you got the wallet too..I know I spent alot of money to do it, and dont think I would have the cash or the time to do it again... But WOW, I got some cool memories!

I have one that will be run in AKC this year, RCHPP HBCH GRPCH Thornsley's Muddpudlin Abbie. I have another out of Red Runner that just needs a few points to finish to UKC PCH and another first to be RCH PP, then she will be running AKC.
To old to cut the mustard, you can always run beagles

Tim Lamie's female Holly has two out of the three.. and anyone who has ran with her knows she would have made all three if time and money would have allowed. A rabbit dawg is a rabbit dawg, no matter the format.
