way to go rufus now we got some action on the line you better let rocko ride up front with ya on the way there and give him a little lovin before the hunt. nate ill bring my grand do you know whos bringing theres?????? its gonna be alot of fun cant wait. get any fresh snow there? snow here is solid as a rock. good luck on saturday rufus i think if rocko doesnt make top ten you can take the polar plunge!!!!

Be careful Rufus the last Homer hunt had those Tiny Timber Hounds on top. Rich I'll ask Mr. Timm he might break ol' Joe out. The only reason he would though is to watch Jill minus out. To bad Buford don't get on here so he can defend himself. Oh well, we'll just have fun at his expense. All joking aside if Rocko is as ready this as last he really might have a shot. Believe it or not Nate that dog hunted his butt off in the first round. Even got a strike/jump. Hope everyone makes it and has fun. We just got to them Homer boys to come to the rest of the state. This club is great.

Rich I talked to Buford and he is bringing Jill or will if he can get 2 other grands. He was suppose to call around. Last year Doug Collier showed up with Runner for the grands so hopefully we will see Doug again as well. We did get a little snow last night but they are calling for a couple inches by Saturday. I think the running might be alright.

Little Rufus you are here. Glad to see you post and yes I am sure Jill will minus out but remember we have few rabbits so it will help her! Plus if she runs in all four counties again she is bound to jump a rabbit and it usually only takes her less then 3 mintues. Rufus is still in the lead for that comment for the free entry!!!!!!!

Glad to see Coco has improved and is now sight chasing rabbits. At least now when he trips on a rabbit he is at least barking to get a jump/strike! As fair as those tiny timber dogs winning a hunt I think those were dogs owned by the Master Leon Patton not you little rufus. Plus I am sure with the cold temps little rufus and big rufus will be sitting in the truck spooning each other all day! lol

Ok I have had enough no more picking on my buddy Rufus but little Rufus is far game!

This just in RTK kennels and Big T (tony) have called the local paper for a special announcement. They will doing the polar plunge after the first round is over. I hear they both will be wearing a speedo and Blue Sly Kennels will be the judges?? The local paper and TV station will be on hand to catch the action!!!!!

Good news we got about a 1.5" of fresh tracking snow this morning. This should really help the running. Please some one show up before Rufus gets there. I am starting to get a little scared the way he is talking about spooning and the Lov Ya crap. I might just stay home and I know tiny timber is going to be mad and I am affaird big and little rufus might be in a couples fight! I know the club house will be locked until more then just Rufus shows up.

Rufus there is something wrong with you but at least you are still winning the free entry for the hunt.

Legend (Matt) hope to see you one day up at our hunt. The next LP hunt after this weekend in Homer will be April 9th and 10th. I would not miss the April hunt this is our benefit hunt and we will have a ton of prizes for raffle away as well for the winners. Could of used you last year as Rob came down and took all the prizes. We hope to be more prepared for him this year! lol

nate i think he flipped his lid. you think he can remember how to get to the club house? buffurd might be there already to clear the ice of the pond so he can throw coco in it!!!! ken nauta is bringing ruby so we should have enough grands.tiny timber did you talk to rich about bringing joe? hope so. ok you two we only got one more day so ill see ya on the playing feild. nate make sure you have the coffee on need it all day thanks.let the hounds out!!!!!!!

Glad to hear Ken Nauta is making the trip for his first LP hunt in Homer. Hate to say this but Ken, Buford, Amish Joe B. where my hero's growing up. I remember following them guys around long ago around 1990 or so. Not much has changed with most of those guys. Buford still hunts junk, Ken is still in good shape and a hell of a nice guy. Not sure if many would remember good old Amish Joe. He would judge all day long and could run like a deer. He got good at running chasing Bufords dogs around back then. I had a ton of laughs with Joe and had my first smoke with him. It was a race and guess what I lost! He puffed down a whole cig in one puff! I was amazed! lol

Rich be sure to bring your better half with you that is the real reason you won member of the year for LP last year. I know Buford is not there yet he has NEVER been on time and when there is work to be done he seems to disappear. Has anyone talked to Preston to see if he is coming down???

Hope everyone has a safe trip. I am off to cook food, set up and pace the floor all night hoping everyone shows up, has a great time, runs plenty of rabbits, and enjoys there self at the club. Maybe some day I will relax but I worry all the time things will not go as planned.

I will still be able to check the web page on my phone so Rufus you better watch what you say. See you all in the morning and I will make sure to have plenty of coffee!
