jackson county ohio akc hunt

was wondering if anyone new if and when they will be holding a hunt.never ran akc and wanted to give it a try.

Well you are in the right mind set, that's a great question. and there are quite a few different formats as well, enough that you can find the one that suits you. But to answer your question, have a dog with good foot( The Mid west promotes speed ) Line control, Checking ability, Clean But fights for the front ( the Right way ) Brains or gears ( important to be able to gear down and run the line in tough conditions ) And plenty of stamina ( there is no time limit in AKC ) NO Babbling, Back Tracking, Ghost tracking, Cutting, Skirting/Running on the outside, Watching, Quitting. I guess the best thing I can tell ya, is get your hound ran up and come join us, Give it a shot, and go from there. We sure would love to have ya, take care and hope to see ya soon.
