Weather like we've been having makes me glad I live where I can unsnap the hounds and set on the porch and listen to some good races. I'm afraid my hounds maybe a little more dedicated to the hunt than I am at times . It also helps to have some males with some big mouths when the wind is a whooping it up to tell where they are.

My dogs can run a rabbit in this stuff IF IT WILL RUN !!! I dont care to see it though because I hate this stuff its horrible ,I dont enjoy it a bit .I have had enuff I think Im gonna move south with ABSHIRE !!!

Thats just a light breeze but of all seriousness. The pup you got off Randy. Is it one out the Buster/Deamon cross? If so, you might wanna be careful there you might get some of Brandy genes. Then you'll have to upgrade to get something else to run with that pup.

I had mine unsnapped and running behind the house when I made the earlier post. I messed up and went out on the porch and listened for awhile and got to thinking Ahh the wind isn't really blowing all that hard and its just sprinkling and man those hounds are running like their looking at it. Well needless to say 4 hours later I was soaking wet and yes the wind was blowing hard.... I had one rabbit in the bag and got to hear some good races and and had some bloody and happy hounds to show for my soggy outing. Surprised me that the rabbits ran as good as they did with the wind kicked up like it was and my ol'culls were able to run'em like they were tied to'em in the rain. Biggest problem I hit was not being able to see or hear the rabbit for a shot due to all the wind and rain.

i had better sense randy lol. i went outto starting pen fooling around with a young female ,stayed out about 30 minutes ears were killing me ,didnt have my boggin on ..
crossfire mine can run with brandy no problem ,,shes pretty steppy but ruff as a cobb.. hopefully the pup will do good . i will give it every chance to earn a place to stay .

oh yea ole randy has 2 dogs with giraffe legs lol.. i bet them things can fly.. i might not have anything that can get the front on them 2,,but they can stay in the pack with them ,, i think lol..
