Is there a field trial that the dog dont have to be anything but good??
Looks like a beagle, sounds like a beagle must be a beagle type trial.

I have several little red dogs that are top notch but I dont have any paper work for any of them and I thought It would be nice to put one of my dogs against some of these high priced akc dogs!!

as long as it is a looks like a full stock beagle you can run in NKC - PKC- or UKC maybe more but this is all i know forsure, they have a breed inspecter at every hunt that will inspect and measure the hound ,can not be over 15 inches at the withers

Thanks that helps! I have a buddy that is getting ready to retire and I dont think he's ever had a dog with paper work but turns out some outstanding dogs and now he's talking of getting into the field trials and was talking of getting a dog to train for those type of trials.
