Re: The Lucky One
I really appeciate everyones concern. Jeff I aint bad mouthing anything about the midwest really i just need to get a few more years under a few dogs and battle back. I meant that its such a level of competetion young hounds are not getting it done for me. I will be back.
My job demands about 75-80 hours weekly and i just cant drive back and forths to Lexington everyday on top of it and then Run at that high of Level. Funny how a young man is getting older shew it really sucks to say the least. I am glad to have good friends that love my hounds as much as i do. Without Bobby Vest i would be truly Screwed for sure.

I've only talked with Bobby on the phone but he seems like a top notch
guy . I'd say you're fortunate to have a buddie like him .

Eddie Williams the last time I found a Buckeye in my hen house I shot him!!!!!!!!! LOL You all need to come back when it isn't freezing rain. Eddie I drove by my spot today and it has been bush hogged clean as a whistle. I felt like crying but I knew it was coming. I didn't even get a chance to trap about 10 of them to put here on the farm.

Re: The Lucky One
I know what your are saying. Without my 'ol bud Tim Lamie, my dogs would not have a shot. It is good to have someone you can count on and even better to have someone that steps in without even being asked because they believe in your dogs and what you have done as much or more than you. That is when you can tell a true friend.

Jimmy:
Congrats on your win with Jimbo. The time you have put in with him shows.Junie brought a lot to the table with this litter and it shows when they are on the ground. My nephew Bryan was instumental in making this cross happen. It was his experiences judging various Junie offspring that convinced my Dad to breed to him.To say that we are tickeled to death with the results wouild be an understatement. We appreciate the opportunity to have pups out of a hound like Junie. We wish you continued success with Jimbo and hope that he can duplicate some of the successes of his sire.
Yours in beagling

Re: The Lucky One
Wow!!! What a post? Appreciate the comments and G-dad said to call him sometime he'd like to hear from you. Yea I am so glad the cross is what I thought it'd be. Everytime I watch one of them run it amazes me. 3 Rabbit Champions 1 with a win and two more like 1st and only have been in a few hunts not bad out of seven pups also two bench champions and a grand so they aren't hard to look at either. Oh Bobby is a great guy and glad he is competing Jimbo and running your other hounds.Guys watch out for Rebar(Bobby's Dog) and Big Money cause they are coming soon... Too bad we couldn't get r done once more but oh well. At least we have what we have. Time will tell if these dogs will produce. I say yes but as I said time will tell. Wish i could make the world but don't guess its gonna happen. talk to you soon Jimmy
Bobby hate to hear they bush hogged all that wow what a place to run....
