New Little Pack Club

I am posting this for a fellow beagler/reader:

If anyone happens to get to NC we are having two little pack hunts this fall. Our club is small, new, & needs to build the start-up funds. If anybody asks in the NC or southern VA area our hunt dates are 9/25 & 10/30.

Do you have directions to this club say from around Danville, VA? I just relocated from Bardstown, KY and I am having trial withdrawels - could get to 7-8 LP clubs in under 2 hours there.

This will be the clubs first trial so I haven't actually been there, but if you do a yahoo map from danville to Roxboro NC it should put you in the ballpark. The clubs here in this area are few and far between. The closest club to me is 1 1/2 hours the next one is 2 hours and the next is 3 hrs.

Danville is less than 45 minutes from Roxboro.I will be attending these hunts although I have never run this format before. I have run in the UKC events. If the new club needs anything I`m less than 30 minutes from Roxboro so just e-mail or call me pwill@ncol.net - 919-691-1640 Paul

Dogrunner just come down 85 to Oxford and take 158 west to Roxboro. Get with me before and I will show you the way.

The clubhouse we will use is a deer club on the Durham side of Person county. The building is about 2 miles off hwy 501 south of Roxboro. I will get some firm directions by the weekend and post them on this site. Any questions email me anthonykerr@msn.com. Directions to clubhouse.

From Roxboro go south on hwy 501 towards Durham. Pass Walmart plaza and Tarheel Chevrolet. Go about 4.2 miles to light. Turn right on
Roby Barton rd. go 6\10 of a mile. Turn right on Fank Timberlake rd.
Pass Homestead steakhouse go 1 1/2 miles club is on the left. Sign says Helena Hunt Club.


From Durham 501 north towards Roxboro. Cross the Durham County/ Person county line. Pass under one light at the 3.8 mile mark. The next light should be at the 6 mile mark, there is a sign on the right that says Vector Tobbaco. Turn left onto Roby Barton rd. go 6/10 of a mile turn right on Frank Timberlake rd.. Pass Homestead steakhouse go 1 1/2 miles club is on the left. Sign says Helena Hunt Club.
