An embarassing problem

Help me out Guys

I have a very small kennel (just a few dogs) and they all happen to be females except for a six month old puppy (I didn't plan it this way it just happened).

Here is my problem:

When ever my male pup is out of his kennel and around the other dogs he attempts to mount them. I'm not talking about a half hearted attempt either. It is constant, from the back, from the front, from the side.

None of the bitches are in heat .

He doesn't appear to be mature enough to hook one at this point but it don't seem to bother him. He just keeps trying.

Is this normal? What should I do?

ROTFLMAO!!! - now TC, they don't REALLY have teeth at both ends but it will sure seem that way to the pup, lol.

Is that you? I usually get a small switch, flyswatter, etc and tap him lightly. If he doesn't get the idea that he shouldn't be doing it then I have progressed to a little Tritronics - only on the lowest setting and just the slightest of bump.
