Berea was a great time! Good folks and good hounds.
I will be attending my first AKC trial in a month or so in Berea. We are packing up two 13" females to run on Friday and I have to say I am very excited to take in the experience. I am running the two little ones each and every minute possible and they are going to a conditioning pen next week for a 3 wk. stay of 25 plus hours a week, then back home for 2 weeks of soloing and brace to see if we can compete. Myself,Tim Ogrady, Mike Gibeaut, and John Gibeaut are making the trip from WV. John is judging the 13" males on Friday. I am excited to watch the hounds work, good or bad, and stay the entire day to see it all!! I have heard some very good things about this trial and running grounds already. Anyone else planning to attend?
Thanks for looking!!

I would like to see the big males and I might even enter one. I'd like to see everyone if you all hang around.

Nice looking hound, don't know if I would own one with a little snippy head like his, LOL!!! That is the way a beagles head should look, IMO.

AKC Small Pack Option on Rabbit; 4 classes ran seperate: 13" f, 13"m, 15"f & 15"m. Check out www.mid-west-gundog.com for more info.
Great judges & running grounds; we just hope the weather is fairly cool that weekend, but if it is a little warm, there are several streams & a pond that the dogs can cool themselves off in if they start getting too hot. Hope everyone has a good time & good luck to everyone.
