does anyone have any information about this dog.
running style,was he ever run in trials?

There have been several dogs with "Phantom of the Opera" in there name, but if you are talking about Branko's Phantom of the Opera, I asked Frieda that very question several years ago and here is a copy of her reply.

He was never trialled since he was too large for 13 inch class ( he measured 13-3/4)
and too small for the full 15 inch male class, where unfortunately a lot over oversized dogs do get run. For Large Pack it simply was too much of a disadvantage.
We probably could have gotten him into the 13 inch class, we know a lot of dogs do, but that is just not our style.
Phantom died in our barn fire, November 19, 2000.

Branko's phantom of the opera was littermate to IFC Branko's Casanova. Branko felt phantom was the better of the two that's why he used him in his breeding program.
