You can try pedialite but every dog ive had that got parvo died. Vet trips cost me alot and still always ended up burying the pup. Prevention is best.

I used coloidal silver once and may have saved two. I did not find out about it till I and the vet lost 5. You can get it at a health food store or online. The siver is supposed to kill the bacteria, I believe it may have worked, one pup was pretty bad off when I started him on it and I figured him dead by morning but he got better and started to take on fluids (rabbit broth) then eat solids. The other was'nt as sick when I started him on it but had the symptoms and he pulled out of it quick. Coinsidence maybe, but after losing 5 I will give Colloidal Silver the credit.

Hate to say this but the only two I've seen saved I believe their brains were fried or something. Definately worthless. Kaopectate (to firm up stool). Not much success.

once they have it you really cant get rid of it only help them fight it till there body creates its own immunity after they have it they can be a carrier for it the rest of there life this is what a vet told me years ago vitamin k helps and a sub q fluids will help keep them hydrated iv of sterile water under the skin, the chewable tablets for motion sickness Dramamine will help with the vomiting. give them a small amount of water just a lap or two every hour and a teaspoon of canned cat food every couple hours not enough to make them sick this will help there strength. and a anitbotic like cephilexine or amoxicillion and keep them warm not to warm but i wouldnt keep them out side if its cold and somewhere that is easliy bleached down the bath tub is perfect. remember to use rubber gloves and was all skin and clothing that may have came into contact this is what i used a few years ago saved all three out of a litter of three. hope this helps cause parvo sucks also coccidia will kinda act like parvo they will have bloody diareha and vomit, and get real dehydrated they best cure for that is alibon

I have experienced parvo two times. Total of 6 out of 7 pups died. The survivor had dilute bleach and a shot of penencillin. Went to the vet both times and it was helpless. Just try your best and hope for the best. Good luck.

PREVENTION IS THE KEY.. just give the pups a shot for it from a good place tractor supply aint it .. done that years ago.

co-op aint it either. vet or good suplly dealer. foster AND smith is good and there is more. \

if you get it bleach bleach and bleach ....i usuuallly use a little pine sol too. \

aint had it in years ,,if you give them their 1st shot near weaning time ,that helps because they aint gonna get it while they are on mom.

some give 2 shots others 5 .... i usually give 3 ,,good luck ..

I have a recipe an old timer gave a few years ago, and I know I have saved two pups using it. If you pm me I can give it to you. Otherwise, I can post when I get home this evening.

i am not sure how much you pay for your meds for cocidia but us Sulmet drinking water solution in there water and it works great. i mix 2 oz to 5 gallons and give it to there mom when she is nursing and then continue to give it to them in the water for the next couple months and i never have a problem... the best part is it cost like 8 dollars a bottle and goes a long way.
