I will be keeping her and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I also have a heart problem, that cannot be fixed. Just gotta live with it day by day. I hope for a speedy recovery.

Texted Chuck Friday nite and he and his family were already home

I'm sure he will update this when he gets a chance but at that time he told me that everything had gone well and they had just gotten home from the hospital.

I said "drive thru heart surgery" what will they think of next.

He said "soon you won't even have to leave your house"

Hope her recovery goes well and keep us posted Chuck.

Reddog, I hope all is well. I went through the same thing a few years back. My son had open heart surgery when he was only 9 years old, now he is 17 and doing great. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family!

Thank you for all of you that kept my daughter in your thoughts and prayers. And I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to the Doctors and staff at the U of M Hospital. They treated us like family and kept us informed every 20 min. Or so. This has been a very stressful time for my wife and I. Without the support of friends like the ones on this board, I don't know if e could have handled it the same. Brittani is doing great. She is resting at home and healing. Again. Thank You. Reddog.

Rowdy said you were taking her in, your family has been in our thoughts and prayers.
Sounds like everything went perfect!

They couldn't find the part of the brain that gave my niece the seizures years ago but she's 20 now and we love her dearly.

Wishes for a full and speedy recovery... ole buddy ;)

Chuck,
Excellent news, nothing better than being home to recoup rather than in a hospital.
I hope you and Sue can rest a little easier now.

Before you know it my friend, she will have all those fine young men knocking at the door again! ;)

Give me a call when you get a chance so we can start planning our long weekend at the cabin running snowshoes.
I'm thinking the weekend of April 14th if she is well enough for you to get away by then.

Rowdy, I think the weekend of the 14th should work out just fine. I had a blast last year and I can't wait to do it again. I'm going to try and bring Nate, if his mother will let him. I think I can talk her into it. I will let you know.

Do it Chuck,
Soon he may be too busy for rabbit hunting like my sons. Last weekend I was hunting up north with just the dogs. I managed to get two rabbits :gunguy: and also came acrossed two cats :bash:.

Chuck,
Sounds good to me, I enjoyed teaching him how to clean a rabbit since his Grandpa apparently doesn't know how!
JK buddy, he is a good kid and it would be a pleasure to have him along.

Charles, you in for the weekend of April 14th?

Chuck ,
Sorry I just saw this post , but I'm glad all went well & hope they still are .I'll send up prayers for her & you guys , as you know I think alot of you . I also know the stress these issue's put on families , I been dealing with some myself for the last 3 yrs , and with this last flare up I been out of work for 6 wks tomorrow & looks like maybe atleast 2 or 3 more . One of the hardest parts are the hounds , the writing is on the wall ( they need to go ) but I'm just not willing to go there yet , hope the good Lord gives me the answer as I can't make this one myself . Take care of that girl , hope to talk soon .
