Pics of my new hunting vehicle

Post by Househounds »

Here are some pics of my new hunting vehicle.

It has a sleek body style.

Seats up to four hunters comfortably. PLenty of under the floor storage, cruse control, good mileage, CD player, A/C...

And a dog box carrying area in back

It realy did work out great for taking the dogs out. If I can talk my wife into driving the truck :argue: I may be taking this out on my rabbit hunting trips next fall/winter.

Although funny, what ever gets you into the woods, who really cares

I would say hauling the dogs around in mommas van will be over pretty quick the first time she gets in there and the van reeks of dogs. ..... You have had the lick. ;)

Nice Steve, I tried that once in the late 90's with my wife's Ford Explorer :???: It did not go well for me :loser: I used it for two maybe three times in Febuary and in May of that year she sold it because she said she could still smell the hounds  she was not happy :bash: :bash:

Seriously, this is the exact vehicle I am planning to go to if Mamma ever gets another vehicle like she is saying she is going to do. What with front wheel drive, it seems perfect. I have a jeep now but will let it go for the van.

Well let my wife see this post :loser: and she said this would not be my new hunting truck :bash: , but because my dogs live in the house they dont smell like a kennel, and when we travel with them to visit my in-laws they just ride loose in the van. The dog box was alot easier then having them be able to move around untl they settle down and realize they are in for a long ride. Then once up there it was a lot better taking them out running with the dog box in the back then without it. I think it may work out every once in a while, I just wont be able to haul or keep anyones stinky kennel hounds in it .

I went from a truck to a minivan also. I can't say that I like it the same though. Especially when I go north to run hare and you get some snow. This year in particular we got up north and they had 15 inches of snow. Thank goodness my buddy drove his truck that weekend. I miss my truck.

I hauled my hounds one year in a Blazer, during the wet season woowee they stink, dry or frozen wasn't so bad.
Sometimes it was a long cold ride with the windows down...
