I wanted to share this post of my nephew he posted on his facebook yesterday
I'm very proud of the man that he has become.
11 years ago as I sat in 8th grade science class and looked up to the TV to see the 2nd plane hit, i was confused. i didn't understand why someone would do that and i didn't fully understand everything our country was going through. I was glued to CNN for weeks to come, learning everything i could about terrorism, reading books and trying to understand. I wanted to be older so i could do something...about it but i never thought that 6 years after that i would be leaving my family and going off to basic training. I also never thought that 5 years after i left my family that i'd be a Staff Sergeant and have three tours overseas to iraq and afghanistan....there something addictive about my lifestyle and a lot of it has to do with remembering the way i felt on September 11th 2001. Don't ever forget the way u felt America. Support your police, your Fire departments and your soldiers. because they are YOURS and they are here for you. Say thank you to every person who gives up their freedoms so they can run to the sound of danger instead of away from it. Know that you are safe because we are on watch and we will never let that happen again.
