I don’t live in Ohio but, a lot of my customers do. From the conversations I’ve had the overall attitude towards Obama is less than favorable!! My uncle attended the Romney rally in Defiance he said the event was incredible & that Romney ”DEFINITELY” has his vote! That is very surprising because, he is a GM retiree!!

So your uncle stood their and listened to Romney flat out lie to him, and all others in attendance , when he told everyone that Chrysler is shipping "all jeep production" to china? Have your uncle do some fact checking , then ask him again who he's voting for.

Chrysler reacted to Romney's remarks with indignation. The company released a statement late on Thursday that made it clear that "Jeep has no intention of shifting production of its Jeep models out of North America to China." (Those are Chrysler's italics.) Chrysler's PR folks also appeared to chide Romney with this remark at the end of their press release: "A careful and unbiased reading of the Bloomberg take would have saved unnecessary fantasies and extravagant comments."

Terry, Obama will carry Ohio , Take that to the bank. Only two people responding to your thread even live in Ohio (myself and one other), the rest have know clue what is happening here. Keep in mind Ohio Republican Congressman Steve Latourette was driven out office by his own party. That should tell you something right their. Also be aware , their is much infighting and dissension among the Ohio republican party. Example , It was Republican Ohio state Senator Tim Grendell who helped bring down Gov. Kasich's " showcase" piece of Legislation SB-5 (the collective bargaining bill} , that the Ohio voters shoved down Kasich's throat by 61-39% margin. Senator Grendell who was then pressured to resign but refused. Ultimately the only thing Kasich could do was give Grendell a Judgeship appointment, in order to get him off the Ohio Senate floor.

The bill was put to vote and the people of ohio said no thanks. What killed the bill was the education reforms. Something needs to be done to control the spending in state agencies, and government workers should pay the same towards their respective retirement and medical plans as the private sector. Kasich and his team tried to compromise on the bill but union thugs wouldn't even consider it. This state is in such a better finiancial position than when Strickland was governer as he about ran the state into bankruptcy.

As far as Steve Latourette, here's the truth and it's not as Big Mike the communist would have you believe.
