I never said any thing about shutting coal mine's down,That were doing what they are suppose to do.I worked over 24 year's in the Mine's .I am a coal person ,But,,If any company no matter if it's a coal mine or what kind of company.Uses The election to fire or lay off employee's take their Business permit's ,coal permit's .send them to China where they belong.

I made a better than average living at coal mining ,as far as the money goes,,But,how many old coal miner's do you know or have you heard of ,I can tell you not many it's a tough short life,especially in eastern Ky.
the coal is from 19 inches to 50 inches high.you work on your knee's or laying on your side and most of the time there is water on the bottom ,I don't know to many miner's who want to see their children go underground.I know I don't ,but when I started That was where the money was.

I know quite a few coal miners. Yeah it's hard work no doubt but if they had a choice to choice to loose their jobs or keep working they would keep going underground day in and day out. Coal mining is still one of the top paying jobs. I truly believe with Obama in office another four years and the EPA with free reign they have a good chance to loose their jobs

What is the point of your post ,Obama has done nothing to coal ,nothing,Coal is a dirty fuel,every one know's that these power plant's have been on notice for decades to put scrubber's i and burn coal clean ,they chose not to do it ,to keep the money,

Obama has started a war on coal for sure. Giving the EPA free reign to do anything. Do you know how much it cost to build scrubbers? The EPA has set guide lines to get scrubbers put on these units that are going to cost the company's double or triple the cost to build one. I truly believe if they would extend the deadline that companies would comply.
