what makes a dog scratch thier ears and shake thier head,,,,i have took her to the vet and he said she had no signs of mites but charged me for medicine,,now this has been going on for about 1 1/2 weeks and its driving me nutts,,, she is starting to scratch her ears raw,,,,can some sort of mange be around this time of year or could it just be dry skin,,
you can take a kid out of the country, but you cant take the country out of a kid

might just bee water getting traped in her ear try some peroxide

Did the vet test the ear for yeast or other bacteria?

Could be fleas. When it gets cold they will head for a hounds ears. Could be seeds from weeds or sirrisa (SP ?)

the vet checked for wax,yeast,,,,,,,but i dont understand the constant scratching,,,,i think im just gonna mix up some dip and spray them good,,,be my luck ill give them a cold ,,,
