Blackdirt hounds

...on the ancestry of your new hound? This is your forum. Post your question and others will fill in the blanks for you. This is also a good forum for asking about particular hounds and bloodlines (past or present) when considering a breeding or purchase, or just breeding questions in general.

Brian,
You are right on the money about Dixie, just so Farwest knows. I am sorry I ever bothered to reply to him, as it seems he is only looking to hassle you. I thought he honestly wanted some info, seems I was wrong. I think you are right, chances are he will not be able to get a dog out of your lines anyway. I know I would not sell him one. I think it is time for him to do a vanishing act myself. Only thing I would like to know is why is this guy on your back? Can't he find something else to do to entertain himself. Like go hunting?
Mike

Farwest, take a hike if all you are going to do is hassle Brian. I have bought 2 dogs off of him and they were exactly like he described them. I would buy another from him sight unseen based on these experiences.
It is so very easy to hide behind your keyboard and put people down. If you have an issue with some one do it in private or face to face like an adult!!

I dont have a dog in this fight (LOL), but I too have seen where you have hassled Brian for seemilgly no reason Farwest. on the RHO board and then you pop over here to TAB board and start a thread like you were just curious about his hounds....get a life man. I dont normally butt into other peoples affairs, but hey, this is a public board and you obviously dont care to harass someone on a public board, so what the heck! I've never seen where Brian started hacking on you but you sure have him. You would not let it die on the RHO board about Brian starting a line of his own or a question about it....it was anice day out today, did you go rabbit hunting? Or did you sit at home and twittle your thumbs and worry about what Brian is doing with his dogs? I enjoyed a nice day rabbit hunting today myself....

Good day to you. ;)

I started to reply to this earlier today and decided not to do so. Just out of curiousity, what has Brian Joiner ever done to you, Farwest?
I've known of him for a couple years now and have never heard anything but good things about him, except for you of course. When he and I have exchanged e-mails or seen each other in the chat rooms, he's always been a perfect gentleman, I just don't understand why you have it in for him. Enlighten us please.

I too, saw where you stayed on his back on the RHO board until he finally had to close the thread due to it's inability to stay on topic. It was lucky for you that I don't moderate that forum or I would have shut it or you down sooner than he did. I thought he was more than accomodating in that respect. Now you come here and try to start it all over again. What gives?

Here's a little secret. Most everyone that comes to this board also goes to Rabbit Hunting Online, the Beagle Board, the UKC board, the ARHA board, etc.

Have a Happy New Year to all.

Well they are coming out of the wood work now. Why did it take so long for people to reply?
To rich linville, Mike and dbarnes, etc ,the question I asked was about pups bredby Brian. I have read his posts for the past few years and at times he has gone to great lengths to point out faults in other breeders and their breeding practices. At the same time never forgetting to mention the great hounds that he has been breeding. So finally I just had to know are these hounds all he says they are or is he talking out is ass.( Also I am interested to know more about Bramlett hounds.) He suggested I make a post on the various boards to get comments from some of his customers. Which I have! Although the majority of the responses I have received have been from people that have bought running hounds off of Brian. Which has been somewhat helpful in finding out about Bramlett hounds but still doesn't tell me much about his breeding.I thought someone with their own line of hounds would have more people able to comment on them. I also thought some one worried enough about when he could call it his own line, he started that post a few times over the last few years, would at least put his name on the breeding papers. Wrong again! I guess this post is starting to bother a few people so I will let it go, just thought if you were big enough to give it you should be able to take it. From the responses I have received on the boards and the pms I have come to the conclusion that this line might be a bit slower than I am looking for but if I was interested in it Don Bramlett is the guy to talk to. Everyone seemed to like the Bramletts from him. So anyway this post is dead on my part.
BTW for everyone that has inquired what I have been doing with my time. I was at work! I only have one source of income. Hope I have answered everyones questions.

bottom line farwest - if you want to know about my dogs then come see some of them run. i can put together a pack of about 5 or 6 dogs(that i bred) i sold locally to buddies if thats what you want to see. or go watch mike crons, he has 3 i bred or go watch chris millers, he has 1 or go watch chris doubles in PA or go watch jason mclurkins near joliet IL, he has 3 bramlett dogs total (1 i bred) or go to don bramletts place and see where it all started but just go somewhere cause you aint gonna see any run over the internet.

as for me pointing out faults of other breeders, i dont think i ever intentionally put anyone down or their dogs. i give my honest opinions and tell it like i see it but im not here to put down or hassle anyone.

i still want to hear about all those bad comments about my dogs that you talked about...or are you talking out your ass?? i tell you what, i wont let up on this either, i'll follow you around and hassle you like you've been doing me so lets hear some of those comments.

i have a wife and 3 kids now and im the only source of income for us too. not sure why you brought that up, but who cares?? i make all my money in the spring summer and part of the fall so i can hunt and relax over the winter months. sorry if that offends you or something.
