Snow Hounds at Minnehaha

Post by Indiana Brian 2 »

Well, we took the kennel out to see if they could hunt in the snow. There was
over 6 inches of snow on the ground, and we are pleased at the results! Oh, and it was 4 degrees when we dropped the tailgate, so they do alright in snow and cold. IT'S ALL ABOUT BRINGING EM BACK TO THE GUN! Let's hear your snow stories boys! :D

Nice, I only went once to minnie this season. One young hound and myself and got the big bagel :( Mabye once I dive back into this I'll get a good pack togehter. I wonder if anyone has done anything at Chinook ? That property could do well with some habitat improvement.

Hanna is in my right hand in front of my right leg...and thanks. I think I've finally convinced Lisa that just because a beagle will eat doesn't mean it's starving. :D Brian

Brad,

Running lots of rabbits at Chinook but shooting very few (by choice). Got a 7 month old pup that I am running solo about half the time I go.
