Need Some Advice

Post by Jaz »

I am really interested in purchasing a 13" pup out of the Fish Creek bloodline, but haven't been able to find or receive any feedback on it. I would appreciate some feedback on whether I should go ahead and get him or not. Any suggestions would be of great help!!! Thanks!!! :???:

Jaz,

Whether you should go ahead and get the pup or not is left up to you. However if no one else has given you any feedback on the sire or dam of the pup, go watch the parents run. If available watch other older offspring out of them run. Also please note whether or not the owner or owners of the sire and dam are running offspring out of them dogs himself. Personally if a stud dog or dam owner isn't running something out of their own dogs I start to wonder what kind of dogs those parents are producing if the owner isn't running something himself.

Example given: I know of an older beagler who at one time owned three different stud dogs. Amonst them one IFC and two FC. However he never ran anything whatsoever out of those three dogs as long as he owned them. That alone told me that those stud hound weren't worth a crap when it came to producing anything.

Well I got the pup and I love him! He's a beautiful pup and already at 6 weeks old, I bring him out walking through the woods and he's all serious. Nose down. Thanks for the info. I have a feeling I won't regret getiing him!!!
Thanks Again.
