If titles mean nothing, why did you mention so many of them as credentials or merit on the pups?

Because I interpreted sammiller03 question to be , do you need titled dogs to get tilted dogs? Clearly the answer is no.

Sam, Ace is nice...I've been very impressed with a few males those guys have. There was a male I believe belonged to Buck. Moss maybe? I saw him catch 5 or 6 rabbits fair and square one day. He also winded one from about 50 yards and jumped it out of it's bed...When we started trialing none of the hounds we took had any FC's in their pedigree's....they do now :D

Guys, titled dogs are proven in the field against other dogs, but they may not produce. Some turn out to be great producers and some don't. There are some fine dogs and fine producers tied up in back yards all over this country, you just have to look for them. My kennel is full of dogs with FC, IFC, FTCH, and LP HOF dogs in their pedigrees. But that don't mean that I have to a champion to breed. My dogs have never been trialed and may never be, but that won't stop me from breeding to my own male dogs! There are very few dogs that I will take a female to outside of my own kennel. Kickaz, Bo Diddley, and Clyde of MoonHaven are the only ones that I know of that would get me to go outside of my kennels. Some may say I'm kennel blind, but I know what I like and want. These bloodlines produce exactly what I want!
Just my honest opinion on titled vs. non-titled stud. FInd a dog that produces what you want whether it is a champ or not. Look at the dog not the title!
