Time is the key. I got them into a good spot Sunday. They jumped, ran the track, and started barking on the track. This is what we needed. I was on the phone with a fellow beagler from Ohio when they jumped the first one. He made it to a hole. We continued and they jumped 6 more. All the time, effort, hard work and worrying came together into a great moment Sunday. They still have a ways to go, but time on the ground with live rabbits is what I think they need now.

Key notes I learned Sunday:
-Dogs aren't gun shy. They don't flinch when the shotgun goes off
-My bigger dog (14") has tighter line control, but a bit slower. She barks more.
-Smaller dog, was the runt of the litter (12"), less line control and doesn't bark as much yet. She's fast...almost caught the rabbit in open ground sight chase.
-Dogs ran open ground, thick cover, briars, and honeysuckle without issue
-Dogs ran over brand new deer tracks and stuck with the rabbit

Thanks all the advice and camaraderie. Folks here are definitely some of the best I've come across!
