Housed within the foundation arm of Americans for Prosperity, the Koch network’s largest group, the program represents “the new way to advance freedom,” Stefano boasted. “And so that’s why, today, you’ll see Americans for Prosperity Foundation reaching out to new communities offering not just classes on the Constitution, and knowing your rights, but on couponing and how to turn your passion into profit by helping other people be successful, to not just tell them about the economy and economic freedom, but to show them that we want them to economically thrive, and how to do it.”

Bridge to Wellbeing last week served hot dinners to crowds of dozens of primarily African American attendees at a church in Miami and a community center in Orlando. A chef offered tips on how to prepare “dinner on a dime,” while attendees were guided into “learning about freedom,” according to the Twitter feed of one AFP staffer.

"It won't work. They can't hide their agenda of lower wages, no unions and no health care, which would be devastating to these communities, merely by trying to 'help' them with a food coupon," said David Brock, who founded a liberal non-profit group that tracks the Koch network. He added, "It's also creepy. It sounds like something Hezbollah would do to get recruits."

There you have it, The Progressives have ran the government for the last ten years. More poverty, lower wages, more debt, more danger, but the Koch brothers are the boogie man.

Wish we could get an independent loyal to neither house in as president. That would bring change real quick. The message that would sent our Federal government would cause many to retire early.

For anyone to have 50 million or more to spend to get a 600,000 job should tell the story of who that person would owe favors!

In sports would anyone stand for a referee/umpire to be given thousands by a team to become a referee/umpire and that person referee/umpire a game the money giver was playing in? Of course not, but we do it every election time without thinking of it.

No "one party is as bad as the other" is BS. A republic is God given rights written into law that cannot be changed by the majority mob. That's what many fail to realize when they vote. It isn't about a person, it's about an ideology. If you think 51% should be able to remove the rights of the other 49% then vote for a democrat. An independent president would have the same power of veto as the moron currently in office. That's why little has been done. That and McConnel and Buener are really democrats. If you've noticed, the government isn't threatening to shut down like it was when the do nothing dems were in control and they had years to screw it up. To think it will be back to normal in a few months is not being realistic. Especially with the worst president in our history still in office.

I sure don't think this will be over in a few months or years, but, think we are in a BIg Hole financially and it will take more than my lifetime to see us get out of it IF EVER.

(CNSNews.com) - The 2,009 page fiscal 2016 spending deal that the Republican House leadership released today authorizes $1,205,146,000,000 in federal outlays between now and the end of fiscal 2016, according to the Congressional Budget Office, and it does not prohibit funding of Planned Parenthood, according to the House Appropriations Committee.

The spending bill is paired with a separate 233-page tax bill.

“We are maintaining all of our pro-life protections, including the Hyde Amendment, and we are making cuts to the UNFPA program,” House Speaker Paul Ryan said of the omnibus spending bill at a press conference today.

Planned Parenthood is the nation’s top abortion provider. In its latest annual report (2013-2014), it said that it did 327,653 abortions in fiscal 2013 (which ended on Sept. 30, 2013), and that in the year that ended on June 30, 2014, it received $528.4 million in government health services grants and reimbursements.

Note: If you watched the debate, the CNN reporter asked Dr Carson if he thought it was a acceptable to bomb "innocent children" in order to kill terrorist. PMB you do know the republican party didn't exist when this country was settled, it was the democrats and the whigs, then it was the democrat/republican and the whigs, then the whigs just faded and the democrats/ republicans separated into 2 parties. You actually can go back into early politices and see a president with a vice president of a different party. The jist is when the Indians where mistreated there was no republican party. It was most likely the same democrats that mistreated the blacks.
