NO Social Security yearly raise (increase)??

Just got notice we are not getting any yearly cost of living raise in our SS benefit.

We can send money all over the world, but not to our citizens that paid into the SS all our lives. Worse investment we could of made. Don't forget our employers had to match what was taken from our earned paycheck each week and put in SS for our retirement.

Even worse, when we die, all that had accumulated in our SS was taken by the government, not given to our beneficiaries like any other saving retirement account would.

Why do we not hear about anything like this screw job in any of the political debates?

The 1.3 trillion dollar budget had money allocated for Planned Parenthood, refugees, non earned tax credit for illegals, and Political Conventions, but none for seniors. Churches, charities, and fund raisers can pay for the homeless meals. You know those "dangerous" Christians. as Obama and the Progressives call them.

Social security was ruined by the democrats a long time ago when Lyndon Johnson moved the funds out of a trust and into discretionary spending. It should have been privatized when George W. Bush try to do it 14 years ago. That's one of the reason's I am a Ted Cruz supporter, give the money to the people that earned it and let them decide what to do with it.
