can anyone help? my buddy has a litter of purebred tri color beagle pups but the female is not registered because the guy that sold her didnt want other breeders to get his pups . how much should he ask for them ? we are in nebraska.both the male and female are supposed to be good hunters but i dont know how good .
I will compare this to someone buying a used automobile if you are looking at buying a car with 100,000 miles on it according to a saleperson it is just broke in a hell of a buy etc. If you were trading in that same car and that same salesperson were working on a dollar figure for you then this auto would be junk-a complete wreck etc. I hope you understand the comparison Go ahead and figure up a logical price for these pups - then double it, (this seems to have become the norm).
It depends on the location. I recently moved from Indiana to Colorado. In Indiana I found puppies between $150 and $250. In Colorado, they seem to be around the $300-350 range.
If you have the vaccinations currant and they are wormed properly, you will lose money at $50.00 I get $200.00 and depending on their age I just break even. But mine are litter registered with the AKC. so figure about half.
