The only thing I see wrong with this picture is that the B&T are in there kennels and not out runnin a rabbit .

I maybe sticking my nose where it doesn't belong but I just don't understand. Everyone has their preferances in dog color and style for their own reasons, and that's their business. I guess it's like I was told growing up if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. Those are some nice looking hounds BD thanks for sharing, too bad everyone is so eager to jump down your throat :???:
I don't have a thing against Black and Tan hounds.I like em,but I'm sure knowing BD that it was ment to slam someone. I've seen him in action to long. Maybe you should be more informed before you "jump down others throats". ;)

no tommyg it wasnt meant to slam anyone and there were no hidden messages or meanings in my posts. it was easter morning and i was looking outside while the wife was getting ready, as we were going to her sisters and i thought, hey that looks like it would be a nice pic with all the dogs outside. if i meant to slam anyone, i dont need to beat around the bush like some do... i just go for it ;) . anyhow for those who liked the pic, thanks  and for those whose are always looking to complain... :moon: . maybe i'll post a pic of my uncles beagles next time. most are out of my stock... but for you whiners, they are tricolored.

That's just BD's way of cheap advertising  .

Last time I checked, all advertising on these boards are cheap.

It is easy to be brave on the internet when you are hundreds of miles away.

As far as color goes we like a classic looking Tri Collar
but if I find a poodle that can smoke a rabbit
I woulld feed it to.

no FARWEST, cheap advertising is when i go to the "for sale" section and list things... you know like EVERYONE else...lol. this was just a pic of my dogs, much like anyone else on here who has a new litter of pups or a pic of a successful gun outing, etc. i dont need to advertise anyhow.
but my apologies to those who dont like to look at pics of dogs, sorry i offended anyone.

tommyg- i'll get some tricolors up soon, but for now look here i guess

theres a lot of tri's here that i owned at one time or another.

DaManBeagles- your welcome here anytime also. got a guy coming from WI to run this weekend. i enjoy running with new dogs/people.

LOL it wasn't the pic of your hounds that was the problem. It was the stir the pot" not a tricolor in the bunch"
It was only last month you posted this jem

It has become apperant that you are having greater success talking about your hounds on the interent then you are at showing them in real life.
BTW the guys are taking up a collection for you to be able to showcase your hound at the fun run down there. I am sure they can come up with enough for you to take the whole family, what do you say?

let me know when your hard drive is full. with you archiving all my posts, i feel like i need to kick in a few bucks when you get a larger hard drive. i feel thats the right thing to do.

as for the post you linked to... so what?? its the truth. gossip travels faster then compliments. heck, look at this post... everyone else puts a pic up and it gets looked at 50 times and 4 or 5 replys over 3 days...lol. look what happens when i do the same thing.

im not into beagling to "showcase" my dogs. i enjoy running and gun hunting 10 times over compared to the trials i have attended.

as for your collection. let me know how much it gets to and we'll donate it to GOES (Mark Betts) and his Youth Beagle Camp. that would really help out a lot of kids get into beagling... or do you and your buddies not care about stuff like that?

one question for you FARWEST - whats your deal in this?? i dont recall you having a "dog in this race". you just here to stir the pot or were you elected spokesman of the "guests"?

That is too funny to comment on.

You don't seem to be the type of person that could enjoy his hounds not doing well at a trial. Probably a good thing for everyone that you don't trial.

That is a good idea about the collection. It is a great thing Goes is doing for youth and the sport. He is a true hounds man. So lets try to help him out, for every pup you donate , my "buddies" and I will donate one. These have to be your AKC hounds from your kennel.

My curiosity is peaked, after reading you post about your line for the last 5 years and your negative replies about other breeders and their hounds, I just have to know what you have. You might have the best beagles in all of North America, I don't know. It seams awful strange you will not travel 3hrs for a fun run to show your hounds.
So the collection offer still stands, let me know how much you will be needing. We can make it happen. :D

Farwest,
Why don't you do us all a favor and move on to something else. This is getting old, real old!!! We have better things to do with our time than to keep reading where you are trying to get blackdirt into a argument.

Oakhill, you don't think this is getting old for me too? lol
I am not trying to argue, I am trying to get him to back his claims. After four or five years or reading them they have gotten very old to me!
BD, Goes has a great cause going and what ever you do for it , I will double. Be sure to let me know your offer, Buddy ;)

4 or 5 years?? look at my joined date...lol... i think that comes out to 2 years and 8 months or so. i know you guys in canada use the metric system but do you got a funny calendar also  .

and like i said, i will donate a pup (2 if im super loaded up but more than likely 1) or will sponsor a kid or 2 if i dont have any pups the right age that they need. all GOES has to do is email me when he is ready to start back up and i'll be glad to help him out.
