ROFL!
In all seriousness, I brought that cat home as a kitten in 98 to be a future mouser. One of the female beagles decided the kitten would do as a substitute pup and decided to raise the kitten as her own. She even let this kitten nurse her (even though she had not been bred in a few years). If any of the other beagles so much as sniffed the kitten, Rebel would whoop them, lol.
I guess this had a big imprint on the cat as she seriously is confused. She loves the dogs, eats with the dogs and even sleeps with the dogs. Best part is she has NEVER made that annoying meow sound, lol.
When the pups are around 8 weeks old and get to go out and play. Angie (the cat) will get out and romp and play with the pups. If you never seen it, it is hard to describe. It is a hoot! She will chase them, then they chase her. Its just a big game, lol. This has actually turned into a type of training for them. I honestly can't remember when I had my last cat race. I aint saying I won't ever have another but haven't had one in many years. They just see cats as part of the back ground. If they get too rough they get a slap upside the nose and that aint no fun.
Emery, as for the 12 gauge, come on down! I am sure your dogs will find PLENTY of wild cats to run!!!! ROFL!!!
