Beagle Camp for youth hunters from

I am in the process of putting together a Beagle Camp for youth hunters ages 12 to 14. What we are thinking of doing is I have two litters due, each participant will pay an entry fee of a certain $ amount and will learn about the beagle breed, training, health, and starting a dog to run rabbit. 3 times a week we will meet. At the end of the camp,(thinkng to end it the first weekend of 2003 small game season) the participants will keep the pup they have been working with and we will go on a few hunts. I am thinking this might be a great way to keep our sport alive. If any of you have any ideas on how I can make this better or, heck, any ideas about this at all. I would love to hear from you.

That sounds like a great idea,If theres anything I can do to help let me know.I'm not sure where your from but I'm in Ohio and if you give me the details on how your planning on doing this I would like to try something like that here.E-mail me with your plans and let me if I can help ,that way maybe we could work together on something.Anything to get the kids involed in our sport.In the fields of the streets ,thats the way I was brought up and thats what I'm doing for my kids.E-mail me at BOUTTIMEIV@aol.com
