What are the true facts about this hounds running and checking ability. I heard some say he's a super hound that brings the total package of abilities to the field. If this is correct what is his bloodline?

BO IS ONE OF THE BEST HOUNDS I HAVE SEEN RUN. HE IS REAL CONSISTANT WHEN RUNNING A RABBIT. HE CAN DRIVE IT UNDER ANY CONDITIONS. I'VE GOT A 14 MONTH OLD MALE OUT OF HIM AND HE IS A NICE YOUNG DOG. PLENTY OF FOOT AND ACCURACY. NO EXTRA MOUTH WHAT SO EVER. MR. JIM BYRUM AT GUNSMOKE KENNELS HAS BO AT STUD IN BELMONT MS. #662-424-3128 SEND ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS AND I WILL SEND YOU A PEDIGREE ON BO.. KEVIN

I have judged him on numerous occasions and got beat by him in the finals of the 2003 US Championship. That being said he is the real deal when it comes to checking and running a rabbit. The only downfall I ever had with Bo was a lack of hunt ( my personal opinion). Hands down if I were going to breed to a male today he would be in the top 1 or 2.

Never seen the dog, nor anything else... just browsing around the boards. Question though, why would anyone breed to a dog that didn't hunt? Sorry, but I don't care how well he/she did everything else... if it doesn't hunt it's a cull in my books.

Bradley....How you been doing? I miss running with you guys down South, always enjoyed Morehead and London. You hillbilly's are crazy, lol!

Bradley nailed it when he said Bo is one of the best in the country! Bo went thru a bad sickness in 2003 where he quit hunting for a period of time......he was near death if I remember. He went from running away with the PP Opens to falling out of the top to coming back and tieing by the end of the year for HOY, and backed it up with a run off win! Bo won everything there was to win.......and he did it with a very honest and modest, mild mannered owner in Tommy Wallace, a true gentleman and sportsman. Bo was also PP HOY the last 2 years in Opens and CHampions......and if they would have pushed him he may have won the PP Grands this year, dont know that any other dog has ever done that. Winning the HOY 3 years in a row from Opens to Grands........would have been very impressive! I havnt seen him run since 2003, but in 2003 I ran against or judged him what seems to be 100 times and I dont remember him ever being picked up or clocked for not hunting, other than when he was sick. Would love to see him run again. And would like to see his offspring, if they are 1/2 the dog their daddy is they will be good dogs ;)

Just my 2 cents.

You all take care,
Randy
